Charlotte volleyball player Julia Damico is all smiles Thursday after signing her letter of intent to play volleyball and beach volleyball at LaGrange College next year.
Like many high school athletes these days, Charlotte High’s Julia Damico took the recruiting process into her own hands. She served as her own video coordinator and public relations firm, getting her highlights online where they could be seen.
The Tarpons volleyball player had plenty to show for her time on the prep court as one half of the reigning Sun Preps beach volleyball duo of the year and a 2023-24 indoor volleyball player of the year finalist, which was no small feet for a smallish setter who roamed behind the hitter’s row.
